went on my first camping trip to Panchgani when I was eight years old. My parents heard about a group which organizes such trips and enrolled me. At first, I was not so excited, it was a three day trip. Finally the day arrived, my mum gave me a big back pack which I had to carry myself and take care of. My parents came to drop me at the bus stop. My cousin also came along and both of us were sitting together and chatting away to glory. On reaching Panchgani we all settled in the dormitory. It was very huge, there were lots of beds and bunk beds too. I was very excited to sleep on the bunk bed. We made new friends over there There were children from different places. We were put into four groups. The name of my group was "The Survivors". We played lots of games and got yummy food to eat. But we had to do everything ourselves, like making our beds etc. Next morning we all went trekking. The place was so beautiful and we could enjoy nature. There were so many things I did for the first time. How time passed by we did not realize! It was the last day and I did not want to return. We had a dancing competition and our team won a prize. After reaching home, I hugged my parents and thanked them for sending me for the camp. I learnt a lot of things like being independent, responsible and to share and care for others. I am looking forward to another trip soon.

जब मैं आठ साल की थी, तब मेरी पहली कैम्पिंग ट्रिप पंचगनी की मेरी पहली कैम्पिंग ट्रिप पर गई थी। मेरे माता-पिता ने एक ऐसे समूह के बारे में सुना जो इस तरह की यात्राओं का आयोजन करता है और मुझे नामांकित करता है। पहले, मैं इतना उत्साहित नहीं था, यह तीन दिन की यात्रा थी। अंत में वह दिन आ गया, मेरी मां ने मुझे एक बड़ा बैक पैक दिया, जिसे मुझे खुद को संभालना था और देखभाल करना था। मेरे माता-पिता मुझे बस स्टॉप पर छोड़ने आए। मेरा चचेरा भाई भी साथ आया था और हम दोनों एक साथ बैठकर महिमा से बातें कर रहे थे। पंचगनी पहुंचने पर हम सभी डोरमेट्री में बस गए। यह बहुत विशाल था, बहुत सारे बिस्तर और चारपाई बिस्तर भी थे। मैं चारपाई पर सोने के लिए बहुत उत्साहित था। हमने वहां नए दोस्त बनाए। अलग-अलग जगहों के बच्चे थे। हमें चार समूहों में रखा गया था। मेरे समूह का नाम "द सर्वाइवर्स" था। हमने बहुत सारे खेल खेले और खाने के लिए स्वादिष्ट भोजन मिला। लेकिन हमें खुद ही सब कुछ करना पड़ा, जैसे कि हमारे बिस्तर आदि बनाना। अगली सुबह हम सभी ट्रेकिंग के लिए गए। वह जगह बहुत सुंदर थी और हम प्रकृति का आनंद ले सकते थे। पहली बार मैंने बहुत सारे काम किए। समय कैसे बीत गया हमें पता ही नहीं चला! यह आखिरी दिन था और मैं वापस नहीं लौटना चाहता था। हमारे बीच नृत्य प्रतियोगिता हुई और हमारी टीम ने पुरस्कार जीता। घर पहुंचने के बाद, मैंने अपने माता-पिता को गले लगाया और उन्हें शिविर में भेजने के लिए धन्यवाद दिया। मैंने बहुत सी चीजें सीखीं जैसे कि स्वतंत्र होना, जिम्मेदार होना और दूसरों के लिए साझा करना और देखभाल करना। मैं जल्द ही एक और यात्रा का इंतजार कर रहा हूं।
