During my winter vacations we decided to go to Delhi and from there go on a Jungle Safari. The place where we went was Jim Corbett's National Park in Uttarkhand. It was a 10 hours journey from Delhi. I was not bored as it was green all-round and the chirping of birds made me feel so good. When I reached near the park where we were going to stay we saw deer running on the road. We stayed in a hotel named Jimn Treff. The hotel was decorated with fresh flowers. We got our room and stayed there for another 2 days. During our stay we ate a lot of fresh vegetables. The next day we started our drive through the jungle. We sat in an open Gypsy car with a guide to give us information. We saw a herd of elephants. I also took photographs of deer, eagles, vultures and monkeys that jumped from tree to tree. Suddenly our guide told us to be quiet and he pointed to a tiger chasing a deer. I was so thrilled! This was the first time I saw a scene like this. Earlier I had seen this only on Discovery Channel. After we came back we went to a temple which was on a hill top and the stairs were full of squirrels. We also went fishing and trekking. After I came back to Pune I told my friends about my exciting trip. I asked my parents to take me there once again, some time.

मेरी जंगी सफ़ारी मेरी सर्दियों की छुट्टियों के दौरान हमने दिल्ली जाने का फ़ैसला किया और वहाँ से जंगल सफारी पर चले गए। जिस स्थान पर हम गए थे वह उत्तराखंड में जिम कॉर्बेट का राष्ट्रीय उद्यान था। यह दिल्ली से 10 घंटे की यात्रा थी। मैं ऊब नहीं था क्योंकि यह हरा-भरा था और पक्षियों के चहकने से मुझे बहुत अच्छा लग रहा था। जब मैं पार्क के पास पहुँचा जहाँ हम रुकने जा रहे थे तो हमने देखा कि सड़क पर हिरण दौड़ रहे हैं। हम जिम्न ट्रेफ नाम के एक होटल में रुके थे। होटल को ताजे फूलों से सजाया गया था। हमें अपना कमरा मिल गया और वहाँ 2 दिन और रुके। अपने प्रवास के दौरान हमने बहुत सारी ताज़ी सब्जियाँ खाईं। अगले दिन हमने जंगल के माध्यम से अपना अभियान शुरू किया। हम जानकारी देने के लिए एक गाइड के साथ एक खुली जिप्सी कार में बैठे। हमने हाथियों का झुंड देखा। मैंने हिरण, चील, गिद्ध और बंदरों की तस्वीरें भी लीं, जो पेड़ से पेड़ तक कूदते थे। अचानक हमारे गाइड ने हमें शांत रहने के लिए कहा और उसने एक हिरण का पीछा करते हुए एक बाघ की ओर इशारा किया। मैं बहुत रोमांचित था! यह पहली बार था जब मैंने इस तरह का दृश्य देखा। इससे पहले मैंने इसे केवल डिस्कवरी चैनल पर देखा था। वापस आने के बाद हम एक मंदिर गए जो एक पहाड़ी की चोटी पर था और सीढ़ियाँ गिलहरी से भरी थीं। हम मछली पकड़ने और ट्रैकिंग करने भी गए। पुणे वापस आने के बाद मैंने अपने दोस्तों को अपनी रोमांचक यात्रा के बारे में बताया। मैंने अपने माता-पिता से मुझे एक बार फिर से वहां ले जाने के लिए कहा, कुछ समय।
