The Senior School Concert is a much awaited and eagerly anticipated event every year. This year the concert was scheduled for September 19 and was staged in the New Hall of the B.W.Roberts Building The Senior School put up a play called Joseph, the King of Dreams, a brilliant adaptation of the biblical story of Joseph and how he was sold into slaery by his own brothers but rose to the position of the Governor of Egypt. The play was superbly enacted and some of its heart-rending scenes brought tears to many an eye. The success of the play can be, in large part, attributed to the performance of the actors, young boys who displayed their competence as they became one with the character they were chosen to play. Weeks of hard work finally bore fruit as each and ervery boy played his part to perfection, thereby contributing to the magnificent depiction of the story Costumes and make up added a flavour of authenticity to the overall effect the play had on its audience. Poople were entranced by the marvellous and superbly crafted backdrops that turned back the years to take them on a journey through the biblical ages. The Senior School play was directed by Mrs PJames and assisted by Mrs.N.Mukherjee and Mrs.S.Singh. All in all, it was a visual delight and was restaged on popular demand.
