Like every year this year too, the E.V.S Club met overy Tuesday at 1:45pm. The club had a lot of fun filled activities and tasks for the members of the club. The students were active in their participation and no one would ever refuse to take part in any activity. The students had to clear the area behind the lLunn Block and pull out weeds from the St. Margaret's ground near the garden area. The members of the club took part in a tree plantation drive organized by the Pune Cantonment Board (PCB). Aboul sixty students participated with great enthusiasm and planted saplings in the race course. The members also took part in the activities organized by the CYG organizers- Green Pune Drive. There wore many audits like the Air, Water, Land, Energy and waste audits. Essay writing was conducted on the topic, 'How to make your home eco-friendly', to make the students aware of sustainable use of resources at home like electricity, water, etc. The students made paper bags and gave them to the canteen. The students were taught to make Photo frames from hard Covers, flowers from thermocol bags and tissue paper, carving on chalks. Composting of organic waste was done by all the students. The members also visited the Nala Garden developed by the PCB. The activities of the club soon came to an end after the end of the second term. The students worked diligently to clean up all the areas. They were taught to protect their environment by practicing methods of waste reduction.

ई.वी.एस क्लब
हर साल की तरह इस साल भी ई। वी। एस। क्लब ने मंगलवार दोपहर 1:45 बजे ओवरी से मुलाकात की। क्लब के सदस्यों के लिए क्लब में बहुत सारी मजेदार गतिविधियाँ और कार्य थे। छात्र अपनी भागीदारी में सक्रिय थे और कोई भी कभी भी किसी भी गतिविधि में भाग लेने से इनकार नहीं करेगा। छात्रों को लल्लन ब्लॉक के पीछे के क्षेत्र को साफ करना था और बगीचे क्षेत्र के पास सेंट मार्गरेट के मैदान से मातम करना था। क्लब के सदस्यों ने पुणे कैंटोनमेंट बोर्ड (पीसीबी) द्वारा आयोजित एक वृक्षारोपण अभियान में भाग लिया। अबुल साठ छात्रों ने बड़े उत्साह के साथ भाग लिया और दौड़ कोर्स में पौधे लगाए। सदस्यों ने CYG आयोजकों- ग्रीन पुणे ड्राइव द्वारा आयोजित गतिविधियों में भी भाग लिया। एयर, वाटर, लैंड, एनर्जी और वेस्ट ऑडिट जैसे कई ऑडिट किए। Resources अपने घर को कैसे पर्यावरण के अनुकूल बनाया जाए ’विषय पर निबंध लेखन का आयोजन किया गया था, ताकि छात्रों को घर पर बिजली, पानी आदि जैसे संसाधनों के स्थायी उपयोग के बारे में जागरूक किया जा सके। छात्रों ने पेपर बैग बनाए और उन्हें कैंटीन में दे दिया। छात्रों को हार्ड कवर, थर्मोकोल बैग से फूल और टिशू पेपर, चाक पर नक्काशी से फोटो फ्रेम बनाना सिखाया गया। सभी छात्रों द्वारा जैविक कचरे की खाद तैयार की गई। सदस्यों ने पीसीबी द्वारा विकसित नाला गार्डन का भी दौरा किया। दूसरे कार्यकाल की समाप्ति के बाद क्लब की गतिविधियाँ जल्द ही समाप्त हो गईं। छात्रों ने सभी क्षेत्रों की सफाई के लिए लगन से काम किया। उन्हें कचरे को कम करने के तरीकों का अभ्यास करके अपने पर्यावरण की रक्षा करना सिखाया गया।
