THE SCOUT'S CAMP TO NASRAPUR 

It was the evening of 6th February 2009 when we had to leave for our three days - two nights trip to Nasrapur which was one of the most amazing experiences we had this academic year . For the first time we were more than 150 scouts , all raring to go ! Five of our teachers , Mr. Baskaran , Mrs. Peeradina , Mrs. D'Souza and Mr. and Mrs. Maity accompanied us on this adventurous camp . We reported to school that evening at about 4.30 p.m terribly excited and after piling in to our school buses , we finally reached Nasrapur at about 6.30 in the evening .

To our amazement, we found that for the first time in our scouting experiences, there were many more rooms than we ever expected. Each scout was given individual bed of his own in a cottage while the patrol leaders were asked to be vigilant throughout the night as this place had an eerie atmosphere. One feels proud when one earns a badge and feels honored too. Many scouts were given this opportunity to earn their pravesh and world scout badges by passing a 50 marks examination which was conducted the next morning after breakfast at 10 a.m. The breakfast was followed by a 2 km hike. It was astounding to see the zeal with which the scouts climbed a neighbouring hill. The days hard work had increased the appetite of the scouts which resulted in the food getting over within the wink of an eye. According to our old scouts tradition, every patrol had to prepare a skit and they were given two hours to prepare it. We witnessed the skits of the respective patrols that night and the winners were given prizes for the same. We lit a campfire and everybody sang songs sitting around it. The third day after a few activities such as "dog and the bone" treasure hunt was followed by lunch, we boarded our buses for a return journey to school. We would like to thank our Principal and all our Scout teachers for enabling us to attend this camp. We would like to thank our teachers - Mr. J. Baskaran, Mr. A. Maity and Mrs. S. Peeradina for their hard work to encourage and inspire us to do our best. There is no doubt that we enjoyed our trip to Nasrapur. We look forward enthusiastically to our next trip.

SCOUT'S का नासरपुर के लिए शिविर

यह 6 फरवरी 2009 की वह शाम थी जब हमें अपने तीन दिनों के लिए नसरपुर की यात्रा पर निकलना था - जो इस शैक्षणिक वर्ष के सबसे अद्भुत अनुभवों में से एक था। पहली बार हम 150 से अधिक स्काउट थे, सभी जाने के लिए व्याकुल थे! हमारे पांच शिक्षक, श्री बसकरन, श्रीमती पीरदीना, श्रीमती डिसूजा और श्री और श्रीमती मैती इस साहसिक शिविर में हमारे साथ थे। हमने उस शाम को लगभग 4.30 बजे स्कूल जाने की सूचना दी और हमारे स्कूल की बसों को रोकने के बाद, हम शाम को लगभग 6.30 बजे नसरपुर पहुँचे।

हमारे विस्मय के लिए, हमने पाया कि हमारे स्काउटिंग के अनुभवों में पहली बार, हमसे उम्मीद की तुलना में कई अधिक कमरे थे। प्रत्येक स्काउट को एक झोपड़ी में अपने स्वयं के व्यक्तिगत बिस्तर दिए गए थे, जबकि गश्ती नेताओं को रात भर सतर्क रहने के लिए कहा गया था क्योंकि इस स्थान पर एक भयानक माहौल था। जब कोई बैज कमाता है तो वह गर्व महसूस करता है और सम्मानित महसूस करता है। कई स्काउट्स को यह मौका दिया गया था कि वे 50 अंकों की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करके अपनी प्रवीश और विश्व स्काउट बैज अर्जित करें, जो अगले दिन सुबह 10 बजे नाश्ते के बाद आयोजित किया गया था। नाश्ते के बाद 2 किमी की बढ़ोतरी हुई थी। यह उत्साह को देखने के लिए आश्चर्यजनक था, जिसके साथ स्काउट्स एक पड़ोसी पहाड़ी पर चढ़ गए। दिनों की मेहनत ने स्काउट्स की भूख को बढ़ा दिया था जिसके परिणामस्वरूप भोजन पलक झपकते ही खत्म हो जाता था। हमारी पुरानी स्काउट्स परंपरा के अनुसार, हर गश्ती को एक स्किट तैयार करनी होती थी और इसे तैयार करने के लिए उन्हें दो घंटे का समय दिया जाता था। हमने उस रात संबंधित गश्ती दल की खाल देखी और विजेताओं को उसी के लिए पुरस्कार दिया गया। हमने एक कैम्प फायर जलाया और हर कोई इसके चारों ओर बैठे गाने गाता है। तीसरे दिन "डॉग एंड द बोन" ट्रेजर हंट जैसी कुछ गतिविधियों के बाद दोपहर के भोजन के बाद, हम स्कूल लौटने के लिए अपनी बसों में सवार हुए। हम इस शिविर में भाग लेने के लिए हमें सक्षम करने के लिए हमारे प्रधानाचार्य और हमारे सभी स्काउट शिक्षकों को धन्यवाद देना चाहते हैं। हम अपने शिक्षकों को धन्यवाद देना चाहते हैं - श्री जे। बासकरन, श्री ए। मैती और श्रीमती एस। पीरदिना को उनकी मेहनत के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने और हमें अपना सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन करने के लिए प्रेरित करने के लिए। इसमें कोई शक नहीं कि हमने नसरपुर की अपनी यात्रा का आनंद लिया। हम अपनी अगली यात्रा के लिए उत्साह से इंतजार कर रहे हैं।
